Carrying on from sorting out my room the other day, I emptied one of my cupboards full of crap and found Howler, a toy from when I was a small child.
I seriously thought he was so cute!
He was from a series called Were Bears.
You bought the bear which when you turned the head inside out turned into a werewolf thing. You got a cassette with it telling a story, which used to scare the bejeezus out of me.
After doing a quick Google, I can see they’re attempting to relaunch the franchise over the next year or so. No doubt looking to terrify a whole new generation.

Despite not being much of a party girl, I organised the staff night out.
With my girls Steph (bar staff) and Helen (food manager).
It was a pretty good turn out (as well as expected when everybody does shift work) and was such a laugh - even if we did end up in Koos.

I rearranged some of the furniture in my room.
The wicker chair is from the 1970s and came from my great Auntie’s house when she moved.
It was originally an ugly browny-pink, so I painted it neon green and added cheap and colourful cushions.
The penguin is called PomPom and the hot water bottle was a Christmas present from Hattie.

The bar staff at work are encouraged to experiment with making new drinks for the menu, and two of the boys are obsessed with making pretty coffees and milkshakes at the minute.
Dan made this for me - it’s has a layer of espresso, a layer of mocha and the rest is latte.
I suggested we get some frappuchino-style cups for takeaway!
