Out for Pride weekend with my friend Sam, and we later met up with Daniel.

We were unable to go to the actual festival due to the crazy rain (we were only wearing flats) but we went around the pubs and it was a fabulous atosphere. Everybody had started dancing in Switch by 5pm!

I liked my outfit, and wish I’d got a better shot.
I’m wearing:

T-SHIRT: Bought from Steel Wheels when I was about 15.
CARDIGAN: H&M.
HAIRBAND: ASOS.
JEWELLERY: Dorothy Perkins.

On the bottom I wore a New Look bodycon skirt, ASOS curve belt and Converse.

Day 3 in London with Sam.

This was my last day in London, as Sam was staying on to do a running job.
We went to my favourite part of London - Notting Hill.

It’s such a beautiful and odd place, where you can find a shop selling £15 factory sale dresses next to somewhere selling Persian rugs for £400 a pop.

We had lunch in a lovely pub where everyone was drinking mojitos and eating salmon risotto.
We ordered our usual pints of Fosters and Strongbow with a big plate of nachos to share. GEORDIES ON TOUR!

Sam also spotted actor James Purefoy doing a spot of shopping!
She’s a bit of a Camelot fangirl, so her squeeing was dead cute.

One of my favourite features of Notting Hill are the pastel coloured buildings.
I’d LOVE to live in a pink house, someday! *sigh*

Day 1 in London with my bestie, Sam.

We had a mooch around Covent Garden, spent money in Betsy Johnson and had a cheeky date with Lauren.

Then we had some delicious American and Canadian beers at The Maple Leaf which went straight to our heads - thus I now have like a million photos of us acting like douches around Trafalgar Square.

This was one of the good ones.
Sam really loves her mirrored shades - and I spent the majority of our trip checking my reflection in them!

Me and my friend Sam went to see Dylan Moran, and she gave me the Urban Decay Fun Palette as a belated birthday present.

Pre-birthday cocktails with Daniel.
Had a few too many Long Beach Iced Teas (like Long Island Iced Teas but with cranberry juice instead of Coke) but all in the name of my early twenties!

FYI: Daniel’s new blog post has some cracking commentary on the new Lady Gaga video. The story about the creepy picture of Jesus in his Grandad’s living room made me spit me tea out laughing.

Yayy my best friend Hattie is still home for Easter, so we hung out at the pub then went into town for chicken wings.
Could we BE more white trash…?

She was even wearing a trucker cap today, so I kept calling her Wayne.

Had such a great night with Daniel, having slightly belated drinks for his birthday.

At one point the drag queen played Part Of Your World and I told everybody who would listen that I am the real Ariel. When ironically, I look more like Ursula…

Was discussing religion with my friend Hattie, who is a devout Christian in the pub. When she went to the loo I drew her this rather sacrilegious little doodle.

Luckily we’ve been friends too long for her to be offended.
